Reverse Raciscm

It's about 'cultural awareness' you say
It's about 'understanding' you say
Yet do you really know
What the fuck you're really saying?

You apologise, say you're sorry for the racial prejudice against us
Yet you refuse to open your ears, or your mind
to at least try and understand us.
You say you care, you really, really do.
Yet you you never noticed our offended stare
When you talked as if you knew all about us.

We nod, we smile, we understand you tried.
When you stand so tall and proud (fucking high) on the
Opening of your cultural night
You say you want to learn, and understand the different cultures
But you're really after, was just the food and wine.

You say you've been to China, Korea and Malaysia.
You went so far, as far as South America.
You even say you knew about the ways of Africa
Yet what you really know, came from wikipedia!

You feel the discomfort, and start to look away.
You feel victimised, generalised,
Pre-assumed, and ostracised
You feel offended, you feel the urge to protest.
You say this ain't fair because this ain't you
Because racists are just the minority.

Before you raise your fist, in righteous indignation.
Just sit down and chill, in the way you like to tell us.
Take a sip of the cool-aid and hear me out.
Just a fact we live through, day by day

Martin Luther King Jr made his speech in the U. S. of A
'Judge us by our character, not by the colour of our skin.'
You cheer, you applaud, and express your full approval.
Yet nothing really ever changes, when the cocktail party is over.

'Treat others as you want to be treated'
The slogan of the day
Yet how many follow through, in the Kantian way
Doing what they preach, not just preaching what they do.
Forget the PC slogans, it's way too long to twitter
Just remember these 5 words, it's not a lot to ask
'Don't be such a dick'
Is all that's asked of you

Will follow up soon with a more elaborate post

Modified triple m- the multi-purpose ciche love song

My intention here is simply to try and show the consistent features of any love song. And also show that it isn't difficult to make one, so long as one puts a hand on their conscience and flatter as if there is no tomorrow. Originally posted on 7 November 2012

Ask me

'Ask me' the original
My preferred version

Ask me why do philosophy
Ask me what do I feel about you
Forgive me if I say that I haven't got a clue

Ask me why do I dream of you
Ask me why do I still miss you
How I wish I could actually answer you

I really just want to sleep

When the teenage lovebirds next door get too loud
the manager knocks on the door and says.
"May I come inside?"

As time moves on, and the seconds tick by,
the Indian lover outside booms.
"Wifey! I am coming in!"
(Only to find his son already inside)

The night flies by and the fireworks die.
The girl in her low sweet voice whispers.
"You guys were so lovely. Please come again."

So they finished their movie, Dora the Explorer,
and their tub of ice-cream too.
If you were thinking dirty, then shame,
shame on you.

'Triple-m - The Sydney Remix'

A variation that was surprising easy to make.

As promised something a little more light-hearted

Well, this is a song written quite a while ago but never really played. Those who know the song I am talking about would know it's short names, 'the triple m', or 'mmm'. But to those yet to have their minds corrupted by the fishiness of the fishy philosopher, I present to you:
